About Kallio: the back story
Kallio, across the bridge from the centre, is the city’s most sociable neighbourhood: Hakaniemi Market Hall at its foot, Kallio Church at the top, Kotiharju’s wood-heated sauna and bars and bistros such as 305 and Hogohuone.

Start at the market hall on Hakaniemi square.
Up the hill
Walk up the linjat streets to Kallio Church and Kotiharju.
Come for a sauna at Kotiharju, then dinner at 305.
